Onboarding Form is the form we need to fill out before your visit. At Pink Heart, we want to start treating you quickly so you begin feeling better as soon as possible. To save time, please complete the intake forms before your appointment, please go online and check your email that allow you fill out the onboarding form.

When possible, we prefer to receive your paperwork before the appointment because it allows us some time to study your specific case and develop a more thorough plan. If you cannot fill out the paperwork at home, please arrive at least 15 mins before your appointment to complete the: Onboarding form.

Consultation/Examination

​

You will not be asked to perform all new imaging and blood tests, unless they are really necessary for safety or for diagnosis, Doctor will take in to consideration any tests so you can bring them to us if you already have, along with muscular/skeletal and functional reflex testing that can be done in the clinic.

Doctor will discuss your primary concerns; review your medical history, along with answering your questions you have plus explaining how many treatments are expected to get the results you want. Once scheduled, you will receive an email with a link to conveniently fill out your paperwork online before your appointment time, if you do not receive please contact us before your appointment.

 

Your posture and range of motion will be assessed to help understand issues with the muscular-skeletal system along with testing various functional reflexes and vital signs to understand internal issues that may be present, Doctor will work with your Primary Care Doctor, specialist, Chiropractor or other health professionals.

 

It is requested that you wear short pants and short sleeve shirts for assessment and treatment, changing facilities are available.

 

Treatment

Doctor will explain the findings from the examination and discuss the treatment before starting with Cupping Therapy or Scraping to reduce muscle knots/tension, improve circulation, and detoxify targeted areas.

 

Acupressure is then used to locate and test for the most effective points, before applying single-use sterile acupuncture needles, after relaxing with music for 15 to 20 minutes, the disposable needles are taken out and your pain or functional reflexes are re-tested to assess for improvements.

 

Pink Heart uses the revolutionary micro-needles which are tiny needles on a water/infection proof patch, Micro-needles can be placed in the body or the ear and left there for up to 3 days, without discomfort or risk of infection to get best results from acupuncture, this advanced technology from Vietnam can significantly reduce number of treatments needed to achieve or maintain results.

 

Expectations and Explanations

Our Doctor is extensively trained in Traditional Oriental Medicine, but he is also trained in modern Western medicine and advanced scientific evidence-based acupuncture and will explain all findings in current accepted medical terms along with a recommended treatment plan plus any further treatment recommendations, the initial examination and treatment takes approximately 60 to 75 minutes.
